Once the wiring of our Arduino parts has been tested properly, we'll begin connecting them to the computer. From there, the motorized parts will be controlled via Python in order to perform accurately timed actions.
We are currently testing and wiring the new claw we purchased with the funds from our bake sale. If it's too weak, we'll have to get a second one.
Finally, the claws will be attached to our metallic stand and the machine as a whole will be tested on the PVC tube.
However, through testing and reworking our contraptions, we discovered a potentially simpler method . . .
Rather than build an arm with a robotic claw, we simplified it instead to a large arm with flat platforms. Utilizing the open space underneath, (between the starting blocks) the light wood lifters begins there from rest.
We built an automatic pneumatic tourniquet measuring blood through an oxymeter and filling with air through a pump, all controlled by an arduino.
